LIVE out loud.
If you want to get something done, say it out loud, in public, and then invite your audience to hold you accountable. That’s the strategy I’m using with something that I just started doing: writing a book that I’ve been meaning to write for 10+ years by doing a livestream, every day, for 301 consecutive days. The first video, created on 3.5.2020, is above in all it’s ‘do you even know what you’re doing?’ goodness.
So far, as of this writing, I’ve done fourteen of ’em. In each one, I work on some aspect of the book, whether it be outlining/mind mapping, cover art design, or the actual writing of specific sections. And it’s all done LIVE on YouTube Live, Facebook Live and Twitch. How? Using the tools and applications I’ve listed below.
